Late Add

Good News:

Students are allowed 20 days from the first day of each term to add courses to their schedule.

This Semester:

  • You have until end of the 5th day of the term to add courses withOUT the professor's signature
  • After that you begin to need signatures and forms.

Bad News?

After the 20 class days, an Appeal of Late Add form must be completed.
It must:
  1. Describe the relevant extenuating circumstances*

  2. Have the instructor's signature

  3. If the class is being added after the end of the semester, the instructor must include the final grade.

*Extenuating Circumstances

  • A Medical Emergency

  • A Family Emergency

  • A Mental Health Emergency or Problem

  • A Severe Personal Problem or Situation that has resulted in counseling or other professional help before the appeal.

  • Other situations that cause significant disruption to a student's semester.
