Presidents and Political Thought

Associate Professor David J. Siemers has published his third book on the subject of political science.

Associate Professor of Political Science David J. Siemers recently published his third book entitled Presidents and Political Thought. The book studies the careers of six American presidents and their views of political theory.

Through his research and analysis of each of the Presidents Siemers has produced a new set of insights into the careers of such famed leaders as Franklin D. Roosevelt, Bill Clinton and James Wilson. Siemers presents his thoughts and findings in language that can be understood by even the casual reader.

This analysis of  political theory comes at a time when the policies and practices of American political parties are shifting bringing modern relevance to historical theory.

The book can be ordered through the publisher, University of Missouri Press, and is available for pre-order on Amazon.com. More information about this book is available through this flier. To learn more about other works by Siemers, visit his Amazon author page.
