Two first-year science teachers, UWO grads, earn state recognition

Two recent University of Wisconsin Oshkosh grads who are now science teachers were among just a few in the state to be recognized by the Wisconsin Society of Science Teachers with a Frank Zuerner New Teacher Award.

UWO prof, student on team to discover primate in Borneo thought to be extinct

WRST submits rare, working ‘50s-era recorder to Library of Congress

In the summer of 2011, WRST staff found a 1958-era tape recorder, formally called a “SoundScriber S124.” Now, the device, which still operates, is headed to a prestigious final resting spot: The Library of Congress.
