Concert of electronic music featuring visiting saxophonist Michael Holmes.
The program will feature visiting saxophonist J. Michael Holmes (Visiting Professor of Saxophone, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign) performing engaging and cutting-edge works for saxophone and electronics. The hour-long concert will include two recent compositions, Flurry for soprano saxophone and electronics and Apparitions for alto saxophone and electronics by UW Oshkosh assistant professor of music Ed Martin, along with music by composers Kyong Mee Choi, Mark Engebretson, and Jacob Ter Veldhuis.
