This is a critical time for the State of Wisconsin, with major choices to be made about things like tuition, taxes, health care, transportation, and more. Local state legislators and county executives will share their ideas in a discussion that moves beyond the slogans and 30 second commercials of the campaign. The forum will be held in Reeve Theater (Room 307) on Tuesday November 30th from 6-7:30.
The State of the State summit is sponsored by the American Democracy Project and the Political Science Student Association. Moderators for the event are Assistant Professor James Krueger (Political Science) and student Michelle Duren. Participants include State Representatives Gordon Hintz, Jeremy Thiesfeldt, Penny Bernard Schaber, and Jeff Fitzgerald, Winnebago County Executive Mark Harris and Fond du Lac County Executive Al Buechel.
Audience questions and comments are welcomed. The public is cordially invited. Parking lot 15 and the lower level of the ramp are free to park at for the event.
