Undergraduate
UW Oshkosh’s liberal arts college, the College of Letters and Science prepares undergraduate students to be effective communicators, critical thinkers and lifelong learners. More than 40 majors and minors, as well as numerous emphases and pre-professional programs — ranging from art to urban planning, mathematics to English — provide limitless academic options.
The college’s distinguished faculty are not only active in their specialty, but also take time to challenge and nurture students in the classroom and through one-on-one research projects. Collaborations with the community, such as internships, provide additional experiential learning opportunities.
Beyond the classroom, students actively engage in more than 40 student organizations, including the most successful Model United Nations team in America. Through our more than 50 unique study abroad experiences, students can explore the coral reefs in Bermuda, research animal behavior in Tanzania, or study the art, culture and religion of ancient Rome.
