Educator Emphasis
The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh , College of Nursing Graduate Program , offers a Master's degree in nursing with an educator emphasis to meet the critical need for nurse educators. The graduate effectively functions by integrating the art and science of nursing into the educator role. The nurse educator synthesizes advanced knowledge of: nursing educational systems; teaching, learning, and change theory; curriculum and evaluation methods; information and instructional technology; learning environments and student support services; communication strategies: teaching skills/techniques and professional development. Students participate in educational sessions and clinical practice teaching.
