Students help with SIMBABY shower
and participate in simulations
The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh's College of Nursing welcomed the arrival of an 8-pound 12 oz baby boy. SimBaby is a $40,000 manikin enabling students to practice procedures in a safe, controlled environment without putting patients at risk. SimBaby has normal and abnormal heart, lung and abdominal sounds. He cries, coughs and whales.
The nursing program hosted a baby shower on April 21st inviting hospitals, business partners and members of the community to come visit the newly remodeled simulation room and hi-fidelty models.
