Center for Wisconsin Rural Communities and Education
The Center for Wisconsin Rural Communities and Education is focused on initiatives that improve the educational, economic, and social needs in the state’s rural areas. Our purpose is to be a dynamic point of contact between schools, non-profits and government agencies to help facilitate collaborative initiatives that make communities more vital.
The Center's goals include:
- Focus resources and organizational networks on the unique needs and challenges of rural communities
- Connect rural groups and programs with state, federal and foundation grants and resources that will fund and sustain initiatives
- Enhance education opportunities and resources and provide a voice that advocates positive change in the state’s rural areas
