Faculty awarded grants

Theresa Duren, Grants, has announced the following recently funded grant awards:

•  Charles Lindsey and Renae Reljic - Joint faculty development research award.
•  Josh Garrison -  Faculty development research award. Also an article published last year, "A Problematic Alliance: Colonial Anthropology, Recapitulation Theory, and G. Stanley Hall's Program for the Liberation of America's Youth," has been selected by the American Educational History Journal as best article for 2008.
• Eric Brunsell's project — ECLIpSE: Early Career Leaders in Inquiry Science Education — received $3,000 funding from the Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium competition.
• Michelina Manzi and Marguerite Parks assumed leadership for the Rural Wisconsin Pre-College Program (formerly headed by Judith Hankes) and were awarded $15,640 from the DPI for this summer's program.
