ESTRELLA recieves $299,924 for year four of grant
Project co-directors Donald Hones and Kathryn Henn-Reinke received $299,924 for year four of a five-year, $1.45 million grant from the Office of English Language Acquisition in the Department of Education.
ESTRELLA: Excellent Schools, Teaching and Research for English Language Learners continues to support a number of College programs spread throughout the Fox Valley region. The project assists school districts with improving teacher skills in working with language minority students; brings those students to campus; sponsors the highly successful UW Oshkosh Language, Culture and Education Institute; and provides a means for new teachers to become licensed in Wisconsin for teaching ESL and bilingual classes in K-12 schools.
