summer institute 2010 aExciting things are happening at Fox Valley Writing Project!

 

ELSAC applications are being accepted now

 

ELSAC is Enhancing Learning in Subject Area Classrooms. High School science, social studies and math teachers as well as others are welcome to apply. This is a three-year project, beginning this summer with three graduate credits per year.

 

This professional development opportunity will focus on developing a collaborative, professional community of educators who are committed to improving their own instruction.

 

Join us in two, one-week institutes each summer (2010, 2011 and 2012)

Young Writers' Camp

 

The dates are set so mark your calendars: Aug. 2-5, 2010 and Aug 9-12, 2010. Writers grades 6-10 are invited to attend the Young Writers' Camp at either UW Oshkosh or Shattuck Middle School, Neenah. The cost is $150 and scholarships are available. Classes run M-Th from 8:30 to noon and are geared to allow young writers to write about what they love. Look for more information and an application to be posted on this website soon.

 2010 Summer Institute T

The Summer Institute is an amazing opportunity to energize your teaching and learn best practices to improve literacy in the classroom. This nationwide project offers six free graduate credits as well as new teaching strategies, personal and professional growth and a summer full of fun and meeting new friends.
