Next Generation Science Standards Preview Night
The purpose of this meeting is to bring together teachers, administrators, and other educators to explore the initial public draft of the Next Generation Science Standards.

The public draft of the Next Generation Science Standard
will be released at 2 p.m. Friday, May 11 and will be available at: http://www.nextgenscience.org/
The meeting will begin with brief overview comments from John Whitsett, Fond du Lac School District and Eric Brunsell, UWO Science Education Faculty. Both John and Eric serve on the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction’s Science Leadership Team. The remainder of the meeting will be devoted to a facilitated examination of the standards draft. Snacks and refreshments will be available. The meeting is hosted by the UWO Student NSTA Chapter with support from WSST and UWO College of Education and Human Services.
