Reading Education
The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh’s Department of Reading Education serves both undergraduate and graduate students in teacher education in the College of Education and Human Services.
Nationally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and the only International Reading Association accredited program in Wisconsin, the department offers three program options leading to a Master of Science in Education (MSE) in Reading Education, including the new Online Hybrid MSE in Reading Education Program.
A Graduate Achievement Program provides professional development and career advancement opportunities for master’s degree-holding teachers .
At the undergraduate level, the Department of Reading Education offers courses as requirements for initial teaching certifications as well as offering a minor in Reading.
