Community Counseling

We Are Changing and Growing!

We are excited to announce that our 48-credit Community Counseling Program is in the beginning stages of evolving to a 60-credit Mental Health Program. The expansion of the program aligns with accreditation standards and the direction of the counseling profession. The new 60-credit program course work will give substantial attention to diagnosis and treatment, psychopharmacology, crisis and trauma, family systems, and addiction. The department is currently involved with revising and preparing for the new program, which we plan to implement fall 2011.
