Library Practicum Experience
Please read through the following
information before starting the
practicum experience. Your practicum experience will involve working in
a school library media center for 200 hours. Half of the time will be
at the elementary level, half at the secondary level. If your
experience is occurring in your home district, you will be expected to
complete one week of the experience per 100 hours at another library
(one week at the secondary level, one week at the elementary level).
The purpose of this is to become aware of how other libraries operate.
Electronic Portfolio -- Make your own using a blog or wiki
Supervising Library Media Specialist performance evaluation -- Supervising LMS will be sent a link to the electronic evaluation.
