Dear Administrator,

The Wisconsin Assn. for Health, Physical Education, Recreation & Dance wishes to announce the recognition of Mary DeMunck, UW-Oshkosh. Mary received the Assn. Teaching Honor Award at our annual Convention in Stevens Point on Oct. 30, 2008.

This award is given to recognize outstanding teaching at all levels (elementary, middle, secondary; college/university). Recipients must conduct a quality Physical Education program based upon standards, use various teaching methodologies, serve as a personal role model for healthy living, participate in professional development as both a presenter and attendee at conferences and show leadership service to the profession as an officer in a professional association or by writing/ publishing within the field.

Mary DeMunck has exhibited these characteristics in her teaching for many years and is helping to improve the quality of Physical Education programs in the Eastern part of our state. Mary has given her best to the profession and others. It is for this dedication that WAHPERD has honored her with this award.

Please join WAHPERD in offering your congratulations to Mary while she continues to serve the students and staff of your District/ University.
