Dr. Joshua Garrison
Associate Professor
Dr. Joshua Garrison teaches courses in the history of education and childhood, multiculturalism and global issues facing children and schools. He is firmly committed to teaching educational foundations as a child-centered discipline. His research focuses on the history of childhood and is currently working on two book-length projects in that field. As an undergraduate, he studied history at the Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. He completed his Master's and Ph.D. from Indiana University's Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, where he majored in the history of education.
