Pre-Registration - Math Intervention Hosted at the Beloit School District

Program Year I – 2014-2015
Location: Kolak Education Center, 1633 Keeler Ave., Beloit, WI 53511

8 certificate points (CP)* (4 summer, 4 school year 2014-15)

  • Two summer sessions (July 7-9 and August 18-20, 2014).
  • Two day-long reflection sessions (one fall and one spring).
  • Two classroom application projects will be completed during the school year (one per semester).
  • Seminar instructors will facilitate completion via distance learning.

Program Year II – 2015-2016

8 certificate points (CP)* (4 summer, 4 school year 2015-16)

  • Two summer sessions (dates TBA).
  • Two day-long reflection sessions (one fall and one spring).
  • Two classroom application projects will be completed during the school year (one per semester). Seminar instructors will facilitate completion via distance learning.

* A one-to-one conversion ratio for certificate points to graduate credits is available for those interested in completing a MSE in Math Intervention, which requires additional math instruction courses (online and hybrid formats). Certificate points can also be converted to graduate credits for teaching license renewal.

Costs

Courses (based on enrollment; 30 participants maximum):

  • 15-19 participants: $150/certificate point (total certificate cost $2,400)
  • 20-24 participants: $125/certificate point (total certificate cost $2,000)
  • 25-30 participants: $100/certificate point (total certificate cost $1,600)
