The Office of Field Experiences in the College of Education and Human Services is responsible for the administration and coordination of all field experiences for COEHS as well as providing endorsement on all teaching and education administration licenses.

The Office has one full time Director, MaryBeth Petesch,
and a program assistant, Nancy Mugerauer.

  • Approximately 400 student teachers are provided placements each year in school districts in the UW Oshkosh service region bounded by Hwys 49, 54 and 55.
  • Clinical (pre student teaching) placements for both special education majors and secondary majors total about 100 annually.
  • About 125 human service majors require placements in surrounding agencies each year. Summer placements are arranged as well.
