Mary E. Vogler Memorial Scholarship
Applicants must be Chippewa Falls High School graduates. Candidates must be student teaching or interning in a K -12 setting or be completed with this phase of their education.
The Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District Foundation has established the Mary E. Vogler Memorial Scholarship that will annually present a scholarship to a prospective teacher. This scholarship was created by Mary's five sons: Steve, Tom, Doug, Jerry, Don and their families.
Mary Vogler taught in Chippewa and Eau Claire area elementary schools for over 28 years. The years 1966-89, she taught at Notre Dame, Eagleton, Southside, and Halmstad Schools. Mary retired from teaching in 1989, and died March 22, 1991.
To qualify for this scholarship, students must have graduated from Chippewa Falls Senior High School, submit an application, and be student teaching or interning in a K-12 setting or be completed with this phase of their education. College graduates that have completed the above still qualify. These applications must be received by Tom Vogler by April 1, 2015.
These applications will be reviewed by the family and a winner will be chosen. A family member will present the scholarship at the Chi-Hi Awards Night May 20,2015.
