COEHS Alumni Association Chapter

In late 2005, The College of Education and Human Services (COEHS) formed an Alumni Association Chapter. The objectives of the COEHS Alumni Association Chapter are as follows:

To serve as a link between current students, alumni and COEHS.
To create ways to encourage alumni participation and support the college.
To assist in developing additional resources for COEHS.
To build and maintain relationships with alumni.
To assist in developing partnership with businesses and other external groups.
To support Alumni Relations University-wide.
To communicate with the community at large about the value, quality and unique characteristics of COEHS at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.

As the inclusive classroom teacher for the fourth grade at Omro Elementary School, Chrissy Makurat works diligently to understand the unique needs of children with different learning styles and abilities and develop effective strategies and interventions for each child’s situation.
