Brief Bio:
Margaret J. Olson received a bachelor's degree in elementary education (1968) and a master's degree in guidance (1973) from UW-River Falls. She was hired as an ad hoc lecturer in 1985 and as a tenure-track faculty member in 1987. She served as Chair of the department for ten years. She holds the Licensed Professional Counseling and Counselor Education Organizations. She has facilitated bereavement groups at UW Oshkosh North High School and at the Oshkosh Correctional Institution and currently volunteers with Affinity Hospice in Oshkosh.
