Brief Bio:
I have worked in the Reading Study Center for the past 3 years as a Lecturer. I sincerely enjoy working with students of all abilities - whether they need assistance managing their time, or need help mastering the PPST Writing portion. While I do meet with students one on one, I also have been able to conduct group workshops on Test Preparation, Notetaking and Time Management. In both situations, students have been able to work with me in developing an approach to resolving their perceived problem, which is very satisfying for both of us! Not only do I teach Developmental Reading and Comprehensive Study Skills regularly for the Reading Study Center; I also have taught Intro to Human Services and Lab Strategies ad hoc for the for he Human Services department. There can be such a big academic transition from high school to college and I am happy to help in anyway that I can to make that transition as smooth as possible.
