Brief Bio:
Over the past ten years, I have gained counseling experience in a variety of settings including crisis services, a cardiac rehabilitation program, outpatient community mental health clinic, and within school systems. I currently teach a variety of core counseling courses within the Department of Professional Counseling, and also serve as a counseling consultant to the Sun Prairie Unified School District.
My scholarly interests include outcome research implementation, looking at the roles of spirituality in counseling and supervision, developing innovative and student-centered pedagogic approaches, and qualitative research. I have been a full-time faculty member in the Department of Professional Counseling at UWO since September 2005. Currently I am serving as Professional Development Chair for the Wisconsin Counseling Association (WCA) and am also President-Elect for WCA.
