Brief Bio:
Works as a classroom teacher and as a reading specialist. Competed my 34 years as a public school employee. During that time, I taught classes, developed programs and assessments, served as a resource teacher, team leader, and department chair. My college teaching included the undergraduate and graduate program at Cardinal Stritch, UW Milwaukee, Mount Mary, Milwaukee and UW Oshkosh. Classes taught included Early Reading, intervention, Workshop, Content Reading, Secondary, Assessment, Young Adult Literature, Practicum for Reading Specialists and Supervision of the Reading Program.
My research has been in the area of study skills in the past, and more recently, I am working on the personal reading of pre service teachers.
