Brief Bio:
I have nine years teaching experience at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. In 2001, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Science in Education with emphasis on physical education, health education, and coaching athletics. In addition, I have also become licensed in adaptive physical education and alternative education, and have an online teaching certification. In 2009, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with a Master of Science in Educational Leadership.
Currently I teach in the Ripon Area School District and have had teaching assignments in adaptive physical education, health, and physical education. I have been fortunate to work with students in adaptive physical education ranging from kindergarten to 21 years old with a wide variety of disabilities and disorders. During this past year, I taught the first online course offered by a teacher in our district in conjunction with WVS (Wisconsin Virtual School) titled Personalized Physical Education.
