Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP)
CACREP, a specialized accrediting body recognized by the Council on Post-Secondary Accreditation, has conferred accreditation through 2013 to the following program areas in the Counselor Education department at UW Oshkosh:

Council for Standards in Human Services Education (CSHSE)
CSHSE, the only national accrediting body for human services degree programs, has accredited UW Oshkosh's Human Services department through 2012. UW Oshkosh is the only UW System school and one of only two institutions in the state to achieve CSHSE accreditation.
International Reading Association (IRA)
UW Oshkosh's Reading department is a member of the International Reading Association (IRA), a nonprofit professional organization that seeks to promote high levels of literacy by improving the quality of reading instruction.
