What Sets Us Apart

Regionally and nationally respected, the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh's College of Business grooms its programs to provide the knowledge, skills and stamina that prepares students for a global economy. We invite you to discover what sets us apart:

Experiential Learning

At UW Oshkosh, textbooks are "old school." You will engage in high-impact learning, working as a team to develop the best solutions to real business challenges. Unique offerings include the first undergraduate student-managed investment fund in the state and a capstone course allowing students to experience what its like to start a business — creating a business plan for a coffee house and actually traveling to Peru to learn first-hand about fair-trade coffee.

AACSB Accreditation

AACSB logoUW Oshkosh is the ONLY business school in Northeast and Central Wisconsin accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). This rigorous accreditation evaluates us under the same requirements as Harvard, Northwestern and UW-Madison.

Strong Business Ties

You will learn and find inspiration from the region's top business leaders. As frequent guest speakers in your classes, Fox Valley's economic and social resources team up with the academic environment to allow you to form your own opinions on the challenges facing businesses today.

Internship Requirement

Internship RequirementUW Oshkosh is the only business school in the state requiring all undergraduate business students complete professional work requirements. Internships allow you to put your knowledge and skills to the test in real-world situations. We don't award diplomas to students without internship experience.

Student Involvement

Each of our student clubs has achieved national recognition, and you will have the opportunity to build on this legacy. The relationships you will develop with other students, faculty, staff and alumni last a lifetime.

Successful Alumni

Successful AlumniYou may meet your future employer on campus or at a community event (many of our alumni developed successful beginnings this way). UW Oshkosh College of Business alumni are represented in every major organization in the region. They hire our students because they know UWO grads have strong work ethics and a solid business background — the muscle to do the job well.
