Resources for multicultural business students.

Our objective is to provide underrepresented racial/ethnic minority business students with the necessary resources that the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh provides. Such resources will help multicultural business students with classes, scholarships and grants, financial aid, multicultural organizations, comfortability within the school system, programs that will advance students to an even higher education, and programs that will help pre-college multicultural students.  As you see below are links to the different multicultural student organizations, programs and services.

The McNair Scholar

The federally-funded Ronald E. McNair Post-baccalaureate Achievement Program will prepare 25 UW Oshkosh undergraduates annually for doctoral study by pairing them with faculty mentors who assist the students in designing, implementing, and completing a significant research project. The program seeks to increase the attainment of advanced degrees by students from first-generation, low-income, and underrepresented groups.

Lawton Undergraduate Minority Retention Grant(LUMRG)

The Lawton Undergraduate Minority Retention Grant (LUMRG) is available to eligible underrepresented racial/ethnic minority students at the University.  Eligible students may receive up to $4,000 per academic year for four years with a maximum of $16,000 per student.  To be considered (new or returning applicants) for the LUMRG, students must meet all eligibility requirements.  To see eligibility requirements click on the link above.
