Insurance Program

*FINANCE 440 and 437 cannot count for both the finance major and the insurance emphasis.

The Northeast Wisconsin (NEW) Insurance Program develops students for careers in risk management and insurance. The program is guided by an advisory board of insurance executives, provides annual scholarships and grants to attract future insurance leaders and offers internship opportunities. This is a professional development program to prepare students for careers in the insurance industry.

Program Highlights

  1. Coursework focuses on insurance and risk management  (see Minors Planning Sheet)
  2. Coordinated interactions with insurance professionals
  3. Preparation and support for certification (CPCU, CLU, CERA/FSA)
