Request Counseling Services

The UW Oshkosh Small Business Development Center provides counseling services to both start-up and existing businesses.

For those thinking of starting a business, please be aware that no financial institution will provide 100% of the funding needed to start a new business even with an SBA loan guarantee. Most institutions are looking for the entrepreneur to provide anywhere between 20% and 40% of the start-up capital (10% to 20% for existing businesses).

Further, there are very few grants for starting or expanding a business except in high-impact industries like information technology and biotech. Finally, when requesting counseling services, please be sure to complete all of the fields below.
