The Information Systems Department is subscribed to Microsoft's Dreamspark program, which gives students and faculty in the department access to Microsoft development tools and operating systems. Below are answers to frequently asked questions.

Who can get access to the software?

Any Information Systems and Interactive Web Management major as well as any students taking Information Systems classes. Faculty teaching Information Systems and Interactive Web Management classes are also eligible.

I'm eligible, how do I get an account?

Accounts are created at the beginning of each semester and remain active until the beginning of the following semester. 

If your account isn't working - or you need to set up an account, please have your instructor send email to the Dreamsparks administrator.

Where do I log in?

What software is available?

  • Operating systems (Windows 7, 8, 10, Server etc)
  • Development tools (Visual Studio, SQL Server etc).
  • Visio
  • Project
  • Access
  • OneNote
Note that Powerpoint, Word, and Excel are NOT available.

Can I keep my account after I graduate?


Can I continue using the software after I graduate?

Yes. The software will continue to work, but you will not be able to download new versions.

What restrictions are there on how I can use the software?

You can use the software freely for personal and school use. However, you cannot use it for commercial use.
