Professional MBA Admission requirements for Domestic & International Students
Admission to UW Oshkosh's Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program, Professional Path, is based on many factors. MBA admissions will be evaluated holistically, which includes reviewing many factors. All factors will be considered regardless of scores or level of academic achievement. You must submit all of the following application portfolio items to be considered for admission. The Professional MBA Path has rolling admissions. Application guidelines are:
- Fall: June 1
- Spring: Nov. 1
- Summer: April 1
The following steps are required for admission to the UW Oshkosh Professional MBA Path. Please include your full name, and maiden name if applicable, on all submitted documents.

Complete and submit the online application for admission to UW Oshkosh. If you are not a U.S. citizen, please complete the international student application materials.

Submit a non-refundable application fee of $56 payable to UW Oshkosh. The application fee can be paid online by credit card during the application submission process.

Send official transcripts (undergraduate and graduate) directly to the Office of Graduate Studies, UW Oshkosh, 800 Algoma Blvd., Dempsey Hall Rm 337, Oshkosh, WI, 54901-8621.

Complete and receive passing scores on the GRE or GMAT exam or equivalent *

E-mail current professional resume to rappt@uwosh.edu. - A minimum of 2 years of full time professional work experience is required. Exceptional candidates with limited professional work experience but strong part-time or internship experience may be considered.

Complete a personal statement, single-spaced and no longer than two pages (Arial or Times New Roman typeface, no smaller than 11-point type with no less than 1-inch margins), e-mailed to rappt@uwosh.edu, describing:
a) Reasons for pursuing the Professional MBA
b) The impact it will have on both your short- and long-term career goals
c) What value you will bring to the classroom

After the evaluation of these documents, you will be contacted if further materials are required to complete your application portfolio. The Professional MBA has both full-standing and probationary admission. Once admitted, students may be required to fulfill additional programmatic conditions.

One of the professional certifications listed below.

A domestic graduate degree as shown on an official transcript.

A written waiver petition based on extensive business experience that demonstrates progressive responsibilities throughout the organization. If there is a possibility you might qualify for a waiver based on work experience, please e-mail the MBA office for pre-approval. Requesting the waiver does not guarantee that a waiver will be granted.
