Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) is the national honor society for AACSB-accredited schools and colleges of business. Election to membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest scholastic honor that a graduate student in business can earn. Graduate students in the top twenty percent of their graduating class (which includes current year summer, fall and the following spring) are eligible for membership. Students are notified in February if they are eligible for May induction.

Graduate Honors

In addition, Graduate Honors is an award given by UW Oshkosh to graduate students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement (generally a graduate GPA of 3.9 or higher in the level II degree courses), professional development and community service. Graduate students in the top twenty percent of their graduating class (which includes current year summer, fall and the following spring) are eligible for membership. Students are notified in February if they are eligible for Graduate Honors.

Students awarded BGS and/or Graduate Honors will be acknowledged at the BGS Induction ceremony held the first Friday night in April on the UW Oshkosh campus.
