Current Business Students ONLY -- online internship application!
Congratulations Jonathan Dudzinski, winner of the CEIA Academic Internship Student Achievement Award!
During his internship at an investment firm in New York, UW Oshkosh accounting major Jonathan Dudzinski was given a defining task-- help a senior analyst condense a large amount of information and develop a challenging and complex mathematical model.
Dudzinki's internship at Tocqueville Asset Management LP gave him real-world, hands-on experience. His completed task was described by a portfolio manager as "asking a first year medical student to perform brain surgery." Read the full article on UW Oshkosh Today.
Internships are professional experiences that students participate in to gain professional skills and experiences. Internships are structured as learning experiences that combine in-class theory with real-world applications.
All College of Business students are required to complete an internship or co-op before graduation.
Starting with the class admitted to the College of Business in Fall 2008, all students will be required to take BUS 492 (internship course) for 0-3 credits or BUS 442 (co-op course) for 1-6 credits.
For an organization, a College of Business intern can be a great asset. They can fill an immediate need or work on a project that has been on the back-burner for years.
