Global Knowledge Requirement
This requirement of the College of Business can be fulfilled by completing the UW Oshkosh non-western culture requirement and one of the following:
- 6 credits in one foreign language (including retro credits)
- BUS 335 – International Business Finance (BUS 331 w/C and 389 w/C)
- BUS 365 – Global Management
- BUS 375 – International Marketing (BUS 371)
- BUS 494 – International Study Tour
- ECON 319 – Economics of Lesser Developed Countries*
- ECON 410 – International Capital markets*
- ECON 420 – International Finance and Trade*
- ECON 426 – Economics of Latin America*
- ECON 427 – Economic and Social Development of Great Britain*
- ECON 428 – Economics of European Integration*
- ECON 436 – Comparative Economic Systems*
* Prerequisite is ECON 204 and ECON 206 with an average grade of C or better
Note: may not use a course from the above list to double count for the non-western culture requirement; must take two separate courses.
