Background
Dr. Wresch earned his B.A. and M.A. degrees from San Francisco State University and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from UW Madison. He chaired the Department of Mathematics and Computing at UW Stevens Point for 10 years before moving to UW Oshkosh in 1997 to become the campus’ Associate Vice Chancellor.
A former Peace Corps volunteer, Dr. Wresch has extensive international experience including two years in South Korea and a year in Africa where he taught computer science at the University of Namibia. He has done field research in the Caribbean and in Peru and has taught short courses in Germany. Dr. Wresch also travels each year to Oman where he helps guide the business program at the newly formed University of Nizwa.
