Background

Dr. William J. Tallon is Dean of the College of Business at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.  He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration (Operations Management) from the University of Iowa.  Prior to joining the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, Dr. Tallon served as Hays Watkins Professor and Dean of the Gordon Ford College of Business at Western Kentucky University, and Interim Dean, Associate Dean, and Chair of Operations Management and Information Systems in the College of Business at Northern Illinois University.  Bill has also held academic positions at the University of Virginia and the University of Iowa.

Dr. Tallon has served as Vice President of the Decision Sciences Institute, President and Fellow of the Midwest Decision Sciences Institute, and Chair of the Education Committee, Chicago Roundtable, for the Council of Logistics Management/Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals.  He was also an Invited Lecturer and Visiting Professor at the Copenhagen Business School in Copenhagen, Denmark.
