Background
Ms. Potratz earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree with major in Accounting and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. She worked as an auditor at Schumaker Romenesko & Associates (now Baker Tilly), for four years before becoming the Director of the Accounting Program at Marian College of Fond du Lac. Ms. Potratz also taught a variety of programming and computer applications courses through the Department of Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin Fox Valley.
At UW Oshkosh, Wendy teaches financial accounting and government and not-for-profit accounting courses.
She is both a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Managerial Accountant. Her focus on small business has been advanced through her work as the controller for Strata Communications, Inc., a family owned business. Additionally, Wendy provides consulting services through the Business Success Center. She is a member of the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Institute of Management Accountants.
