Background
Dr. Dunn is currently developing the College’s sustainability programs. A new minor in sustainable management begins in Spring 2012 and is open to any major on campus. A masters degree in sustainability management is being developed in conjunction with UW Madison and is slated to start in Fall 2012. The new Center for Sustainable Management is currently in development and is designed to be the sustainability resource for regional businesses. Dr. Dunn is also the advisor for a new campus organization, Students in Free Enterprise, an endeavor which encourages students to develop start-up businesses that address social needs.
During his thirteen years at UW Oshkosh, he has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in Sustainability Management, Supply Chain and Operations Management, Environmental Management, Project Management, Quality Management, Ethics and Small Business Consulting.
He has over 10 years of industry experience in various management positions with HJ Heinz and John Labatt Ltd. He is currently a partner in The Sage Group, a consulting firm that specializes in sustainability strategy. He also helped develop and deliver the Life After Hockey program for the National Hockey League from 2002-2008.
His current research involves organizational response to natural environmental and social change.
