Background
Dr. Makar earned his B.S. and his M.B.A. from the University of Akron, and his PhD in Accounting and International Economics from Kent State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and worked eights years for the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in accounting and executive training. Dr. Makar teaches cost management at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
