Get Involved

In addition to gifts to the college, we encourage our alumni to help the College of Business (COB) succeed through the following ways.

Spread the Word

Reference the UW Oshkosh brand name and your degree earned when being profiled for your achievements. Also, inform others of our points of pride, including our AACSB accreditation and the 95th percentile ETS business exam results for both BBA and MBA students (Spring 2008-2012).

Recruit Students to UW Oshkosh COB

Undergraduate and MBA viewbooks are an excellent tool in recruiting new students to UW Oshkosh. Contact the college Undergraduate Office to receive copies of our undergraduate viewbooks, and to receive the MBA viewbook contact the MBA office at 920-424-0186 or mba@uwosh.edu.

Help Place Internships

UW Oshkosh eager and ambitious interns can provide your company with cost-effective assistance and valuable insight. If you or your company may be interested in hiring an intern, contact our COB internships director by phone at (920) 424-2032 or by e-mail at bus-interns@uwosh.edu.

Host an MBA Information Event

MBA-educated employees are an asset to your company. UW Oshkosh's MBA Program is nationally accredited and well-respected by employers. Encourage your employees to consider an MBA by hosting an MBA information event. Contact Terry Rapp at (920) 424-3199 or rappt@uwosh.edu.

Lend Your Expertise

Give back to your alma mater by offering to guest lecture in a class, speak at a student organization meeting or participate in one-on-one mock interviews, job shadowing or Dining with Professionals. Contact the college office at 920-424-1444 or Dave Krause, COB Advancement and Alumni Relations, by email.

Lisa Weyer

Lisa Weyer (BBA '05) gives much of her time and energy to the COB because she believes it's important to remain involved. She is one of the founders of Networking Night and has belonged to the committee since 2005. Besides spending time on Networking Night, Lisa also donates her time to the UWO Career Services, reviewing resumes and giving advice to students.
