Dr. Linda Hartenian
In December 2008, Hartenian retired after nearly 19 years service to the University and Management and Human Resources team. During her tenure, she served as a chair of the Graduate council, the Faculty Development Board, the Institutional Review Board and the Task Force on Women's Issues.
Hartenian was also the Acting Assistant Vice chancellor for Graduate Studies and Research and the Management and Human Resource Team Leader.
In the community, Hartenian was a hands-on volunteer and served as a board member for the Oshkosh Area Humane society. She was actively engaged in the capital campaign that supported acquisition of the facility on Shelter Drive in Oshkosh. Linda also served on the Board of Directors at Evergreen Retirement community.
Her most recent applied research has been on volunteerism.
