2008 Faculty Honoree
Dr. Marilyn Hart joined the UW Oshkosh College of Business in 1985 and retired in 2007. Hart received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from the University of Illinois and her second Master of Science degree and Ph.D. from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
An accomplished author and educator, her most recent book, Statistical Process Control for Health Care, was published IN 2002 and translated into Chinese in 2007. Robert Hart, her husband who also retired from the College, is the book’s co-author.
The Harts have presented over 30 Quality Improvement seminars in health care and more than 300 in industry. They have also published articles with the Joint Commission on Accreditation for Healthcare Organizations on how to analyze healthcare data.
