Day by Day Warming shelter collection drive

From now until Feb. 18, CivilityWorks is sponsoring a donation drive for the Day by Day Warming Shelter in Oshkosh. This shelter seeks to provide temporary emergency shelter for adult men and women who have no other sheltering options in Oshkosh, WI. All services and assistance are offered in the context of the furtherance of human dignity with the primary goal of harm reduction during the coldest weather months of the year. Please be aware that this shelter has been at capacity (25) for many weeks and last week had to turn away 12 people. This is typically a person's last place available to them for shelter.
Most immediate (daily) needs are:
  • hand & toe warmers
  • fruit cups
  • juice boxes
  • peanut butter
  • plastic spoons
  • foam & regular drinking cups
  • decaf & regular coffee
  • coffee creamer
  • tea

Boxes to receive your donations are located in the following places:

  • Campus Service Center -- lobby area
  • Journalism -- Sage Hall 3003
  • LLCE -- Dempsey 315

  • Polk Library -- outer lobby area
