The courses build on each other:
Chemistry 106 is a prerequisite for all higher numbered chemistry courses.
Calculus I is a prerequisite for Physics I.
Quantitative analysis, Physics II and Calculus III are co-requisites for Physical Chemistry I.
Quantitative analysis, Physics II and Calculus III are pre-requisites for Instrumental Analysis.

The Chemistry Electives rotate through
Chem 323: Analytical Separations; Chem 360: Special Topics; and Chem 435: Interpretive Spectroscopy.
Usually one is offered each academic year, but the pattern is irregular.
