5 chemistry majors present research at UW System Symposium

Five University of Wisconsin Oshkosh students presented posters at the 13th Annual UW System Symposium for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity at UW-Milwaukee on April 11.

Thomas Kuborn (Dr. Crawford), Analysis of Carotenoid Production in Five Strains of Freshwater Bacteria.

Kelsey Paltzer (Dr. Mihalick), Energy Investigation of the Binding Reactions between Alum, Morin and Model Fibers.

Taylor Truttmann (Dr. Waters), Finding Specific Proteins that Bind to the Small Protein MntS in the Model Bacterium E. coli.

Erica Vander Mause (Dr. Paulson), Histone H3 Phosphorylation in Chromosome Condensation.
