Acknowledges senior students who possess high academic and leadership qualities and demonstrates commitment to the ideals of excellence and service to others. The criteria for this award include: academic performance, university related service (excluding athletics participation) and community involvement.
Awarded to individuals the Chancellor deems deserving because of their significant contributions to all or a combination of some of the following: the University, the Region, the State, or the Nation. These contributions may be in education, health, leadership, science, etc.
The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh bestows honorary doctorate degrees on individuals of exceptional accomplishments and distinction that have made significant contributions to the University, Region, State or Nation; or demonstrated a consistently outstanding record of accomplishment in their field of endeavor.
The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh has many nonteaching faculty and academic staff whose contributions enhance the University's overall academic environment and support for our educational goals. The Outstanding Service Award recognizes excellence of service that touches each member of the University community.
Recognizes exemplary members of the classified staff whose activities, accomplishments, and service are most deserving of acknowledgement.
Awarded to faculty members who demonstrate outstanding research and engagement in community service. Funded by local sponsors, the awards support research projects and professional development for a four-year term.
Recognizes University of Wisconsin Oshkosh faculty members for teaching, professional achievement, and public service. Nominees are considered by a panel representing all University governance groups.
Recipients are selected based on their teaching excellence, service and professional commitment and scholarly growth. A committee of faculty, students, and staff determine who will receive this honor.
Recognizes faculty members who have made a significant contribution that might otherwise go unrecognized. Applications are not accepted for this award; rather the deans and provost select the recipients based on performance.
Recognizes faculty members who have exceptional University service records.
University of Wisconsin System Women's Studies Consortium, the Office of Academic Diversity and Development, and the Office of Women's Issues are pleased to have had this opportunity to recognize women from around the state for their extensive contributions to their campuses and/or communities.
