This full day workshop will introduce you to the QM Rubric and the process of using the QM Rubric to review online courses. It is intended for a broad audience, including but not limited to faculty, instructional designers, administrators, and adjunct instructors who wish to understand more about the QM Rubric and process of course review.  At the conclusion of this workshop you will be Quality Matters certified to apply the Quality Matters Rubric and will be eligible to complete the Quality Matters Peer Reviewer certification course.

This three-day workshop focuses on understanding and meeting UW Oshkosh Global Learning and Citizenship goals at the upper division level and within the USP (global citizenship requirement). The work-shop is appropriate for those creating a new global content course or who may want to revise an existing course. In particular, the workshop provides support for revising or creating course specific Global Citizenship Student Learning Outcomes, devising level appropriate assessment activities, and crafting a new or revised syllabus. A $200 Stipend will be available.

Online Teaching Certification Program

The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) will offer a new Online Teaching Certification Program in 2016. It is a fully online program and will be made available for instructors on January 4, 2016. Jennifer Hendryx, CETL Instructional Designer, is designing the program.
