SOTL and OPID Grant Opportunities

Introduction to the basic foundations of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SOTL).

There are many opportunities for grants through CETL. This session will introduce you to a number of grant opportunities that provide support for your teaching and research goals. Both $500 and $1,000 grants are available for pursuing research connected to the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SOTL). The basics of SOTL scholarship will be discussed along with the process of participating in the SOTL Mentoring Program and Pilot Projects. The deadline for both these grants is now Oct. 7. Jane Purse-Wiedenhoeft will discuss her involvement with UW System opportunities related to SOTL. Both the Wisconsin Teaching Fellows and Scholars program, a year-long program revolving around your SOTL scholarship, and with Faculty College. Both these opportunities connect you to scholars across the University of Wisconsin System passionate about teaching and learning.
